    We are so proud of two of our Year 6 School Council members, who represented BPS at the Children and Youth Council on Friday 20th June.

    They prepared and delivered a balanced argument on whether mobile phones should be allowed in school. They were an absolute credit to the school and should be very proud of themselves!

  • Red Nose Day: staff v children

    In addition to wearing red, dressing silly or wearing our clothes backwards, we had a great time in a staff v children battle.  

    This included a dance off, over and under, heads and tails toss, a rock/paper/scissor off AND a draw off (you might recognise the model for this). Despite our best efforts, the children were victorious!

    BPS Cross Country Team did an amazing job on Tuesday! 

    We had three Year 3/4 teams and three Year 5/6 teams taking part (amazing!), and so many of our runners finished in the top three places in their laps! 

    • Year 3/4 Team A finished 3rd overall. 

    • Year 3/4 Team B won their event and finished 7th overall. 

    • Year 3/4 Team C placed 11th overall. 

    • Year 5/6 Team A finished in 2nd place. 

    • Year 5/6 Team B won their event and finished 4th overall. 

    • Year 5/6 Team C came 10th overall.
