A new musical experience...
After learning about the Bayeux Tapestry during our Topic lessons, Year 4 and 5 have been practising running stitch during D&T lessons.
Our Y6: ‘Keep Calm and Carry On day’ was great fun. The children said: 'It was brilliant. We created characters and had whole new lives! There were lots of activities: make do and mend (clothes rationing and sewing), cooking (with rationed food: very messy but it didn’t taste too bad!), World War Two games (Pick up sticks, Go Fish, marbles and dominoes)'.
BPS are now officially recognised as a Unicef UK Silver: Rights Aware school.
The restoration of a school trail in memory of a little boy who died of cancer has been officially declared open.
